四谷大塚出版の教育情報誌ドリームナビの8月号巻頭トップページから合計３ページを担当しました。
制作の始めにドリームナビ編集部の方とスカイプで打ち合わせしました。
編集部さんは夏休みに中学受験を控えた子供たちが楽しく塾へ向かうイラストを描いてほしい。
関東の夏、を背景にイメージしてほしい。というオーダーでした。
私は沖縄出身の為、関東の夏の子供たち、、、というお題に少し緊張しました。
中学受験を控えた都会の子供たち。
服装はきっとカジュアルすぎず、夏のカラーを取り入れて爽やかにしようと考えました。
なんだか河川敷に大きな橋がかかって街が見えている感じが自分の中で都会の夏かなと感じたので、
そこに向かって行きました。もくもくした入道雲も夏だ！と思い描きました。
I made illustrations for Educational information Magazine ‘Dream Navi’.
The page I was responsible for three pages from the top of the special feature article. I had meeting with the editorial department team on the Skype.
They would like to me to draw about childrens who are about to take their junior high school entrance exams and head to cram school happily during summer vacation. And in the backgraund is summer of Japan.
I drew children in refreshing and slightly formal clothes.The background is a riverbed in the Kanto region(Which is around Tokyo).
